Maintaining equipment readiness in order to support the 1st Marine Logistic
Group and over 30 different units to be able to deployed and accomplish the
different training during field exercises, missions tasks on a time deadline, and
the embarkation and mobilization of telecommunication test equipment to
different bases with 100% success saving precious time, gas, money by avoiding
the necessity of traveling back and forward for equipment.
TRANSLATOR:
Successfully serving as the direct liaison between the Wounded Warrior Program
and the Wounded Warriors Colombian Marines working has a translator (English
to Spanish, Spanish to English) with over four hundred hours of directly helping
over 60 international personnel and staff.
Knowledge of the structure and content of a foreign (Spanish) language including
the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, and
pronunciation, helping to remove communication barriers.
TRAINING:
Provided quality instruction, practical application, and testing exercises to over 12
telecommunications personnel in the maintenance department using a Very
Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) Small, Medium, and Large to assist with
Terrorist Awareness, Force Protection, and Tactical Operations against enemy
forces.
Counseled, advised, and mentored over 16 team members in
telecommunications, leadership, organizational structure, interpersonal, and
professional communications. Consistently promoted a strong teamwork
environment and achieved outstanding results within the team, and the
department increasing team readiness and effectiveness.
Coordinated, supervised, and evaluated the communication maintenance cycle,
managed, coordinated classroom and field training needs. Taught training

COMMUNICATIONS MAINTENANCE DATA & WIRE CHIEF / MANAGER:
Performed duties in conducting maintenance and requisitioning repair items,
arrange data and communications equipment. Supervised data and wire
communications maintenance section of 20 personnel and managed data and
classified electronic communications equipment valued over $3,000,0000
Prepared publications and training materials, to improve the work quality of the
maintenance communication department. Supervised the maintenance
department; Inspecting, developing and managing a training schedule of
communication technique classes to instruct over 43 federal personnel to
maintain a 100% combat readiness.
GROUND ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN:
Performed repairs, installation and modification of different levels; Second, and
Third Echelon maintenance department on ground communications equipment,
cryptographic gear and all related communication equipment in support of
infantry units valued over $3,500,000.
Troubleshoot communications systems by conducting Limited Technical
Inspection, to obtain gear adequate for squad, platoon or company. Repaired
VSAT Small, Medium, and Large, Deployable End Office Suite (DEOS) and other
similar equipment worthed over $1,500,000.00.
Conducted repairs on antennas and vehicle mounted radios. Order repair parts
and completion of equipment repairs resulting in 100% accomplishment on
different training exercises (Still Night, Dessert Semmetar, Domplits, and Mobex).
MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST:
Updated all status of maintenance on Global Combat Support System (GCSS).
Informed superiors of activities being conducted and how they will be handled
further. Ensure effective management of equipment, maintenance, and material,
inspect documents, materials, and products valued over $2,500,000. Monitored
maintenance cycle development to ensure comprehensiveness and accuracy.
Meet with supervisors and other personnel to discuss updates and areas
requiring maintenance.
